Lloyd Anthony Kushon

Lloyd Anthony Kushon, age 96, of Uniontown, Pa., went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 13, 2011 passing in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born October 26, 1914 in Luxor, Pa., the son of the late Anthony Kushon and Jenne Leonard Knosky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 64 years, Victoria and his second wife of 6 years, Louvarah Baird Kushon; sisters: Jennie, Ann, Helen and Ruth and brother, James.
Lloyd was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church. He was a United States Veteran of WWII serving in the Navy from 1942 – 1945. Lloyd was a member of the American Legion Post 51, AMVETS Post 103, former Circle Club and the Golden Age Club.
He is survived by his step-children: Lou Ann Patterson and husband Thomas and Wanda Hickle and husband Ronald; step-granddaughters: April Lee Nara and husband Joseph, Beth Ann Hickle and Fiance Scott Bedilion and Krystle Patterson; step-grandson, Tommy Patterson and wife Ruth; step-great granddaughters: Isabella and Olivia Patterson; nephew, John Decarlo; niece, Dolores Griffith and many friends of Beechwood Court.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today, February 16, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday morning, until 9:30 a.m., when Parting Prayers will be held followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph R.C. Church with Rev. Father Ronald L. Simboli as celebrant.
Interment follows in the St. Joseph RC Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
Military Honors will be accorded at graveside by the AMVETS Post 103 Hopwood.
