Joseph Colabianchi
Joseph Colabianchi, age 87, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at home, with his family by his side.
He was born July 30, 1923 in Grindstone, PA. Joseph was the son of the late Angelo Colabianchi and Emma Proia Colabianchi.
Aside from his parents, Joseph was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, a granddaughter, Michelle Murray; and siblings, Venetia Catalano, Roland Colabianchi, and Baldovino Colabianchi.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Robert J. Colabianchi and his wife, Mary and Nancy Colabianchi; grandchildren: Pamela Deli and husband Stephen, Angela Colabianchi and Robert Colabianchi; great-grand-children: Marissa Murray, Derek Murray, Stephen Deli, Jr., Jace Deli, Tyler Glass, Walter Bella and Brook Bella; great-great-grandchild, R. Morgan.
The family will receive friends at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, today, February 23, 2011 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and Thursday, February 24, 2011 until 9:15 AM, when prayers of transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, located at 61 Mill St. Uniontown, PA 15401, with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak as Celebrant
A Parish Wake Service will be held in the funeral home today, February 23 at 3 PM.
Interment will follow at Mt. Macrina Cemetery, located in Uniontown, PA., where military honors will be accorded by the Amvets Post 103 of Hopwood, PA
