Frances was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Anna and Albert Migacz.
After graduating with honors from South Union High School, she was employed with the Continental No.1 Company Store. She married the love of her life, Frank Starzyk, who she shared cherished years with until his passing. Later, she worked for the S&H Green Stamp Store and also for the kind Zeppo family at Zeppo Hardware.
Throughout her life, she was a devoted Christian and a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. She volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, participated in St. Joseph’s Parochial School PTA, Christian Mothers, and was a member of St. Helen’s Club.
At her home in Davie, Florida, surrounded by her loving daughter, son, and daughter-in-law, she peacefully passed on to eternal life joining loved ones who preceded her.
She is survived by her two sisters, Stella Schloss and Helen Obbish Will, both of Chicago, Illinois; her daughter, Jeanie and husband, Larry Marek of Los Alamos, New Mexico, daughter, Chris and son-in-law, Tom Plevin of Uniontown, and son, Stan and wife, Cathy of Davie, Florida. She has eight loving grandchildren: Tommy, Andrea, Don, Bill, Julie, Kara, Laura, and Alexis and two great-grandsons, Stan and Christopher.
Frances will be remembered for her faithful spirit, beautiful smile, caring heart, and sweet demeanor.
Visitation will be at the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, February 25 from 7 to 9 PM. Saturday morning until 8:30 a.m., when Parting Prayers will be said followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. with Rev. Father Ronald L. Simboli as celebrant.
Interment follows in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
