Virginia P. Clemmer Guynn
Virginia P. Clemmer Guynn, 85, Connellsville Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2011 in the L a t r o b e S e l e c t Specialty Care.
Virginia was b o r n on Friday, December 11, 1925 in Point Marion, Pennsylvania daughter of Virgil Clemmer and Margaret E. (Thomas) Clemmer Rowan.
In her spare time Virginia loved to bake cookies, play 500 rum, and take care of all of her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Richard T. Guynn in 1991; and two brothers, John D. Rowan of Connellsville and Spencer Clemmer of Point Marion.
Virginia is survived by two daughters: Deborah Hinklie and her husband George of Connellsville and B e v e r l y Guynn and companion Richard Shoemaker of Connellsville; one son, Duane R. Guynn and his wife Karen of Scottdale, Pennsylvania; brother Richard L. Rowan and his wife Nancy of Vanderbilt, Pennsylvania; and sister, Genevieve Dunham of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. In addition, V i r g i n i a has three grandchildren: Michael Hinklie and his wife Sheila of Morrell, Pennsylvania, Brian Guynn and his wife Kristin of Youngwood, Pennsylvania and Megan Guynn and her friend Steve of New Stanton, Pennsylvania; and four great grandchildren: Taylor Leighty, Dustin Hinklie, Casper Hinklie and Patience Hinklie all of Morrell, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 9 p.m. in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville where Services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 1 p.m.with Rev. Dr. Marvin Watson officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pennsylvania.
The family would like to especially thank all of her doctors including her longtime doctor, Dr. Setty, and all the nursing staff at Frick Hospital, 2 South, at Select Specialty and the Excela Home Care for all of their care and concern for Virginia during her illness.
