John E. Mrazeck, Jr., age 93, of Masontown, PA, and formerly of Mack Farm, passed away on January 3, 2011 at Pt. Manor Personal Care Home, Point Marion, PA.

He was born in Masontown, PA on May 2, 1917, the son of the late John F. Mrazeck, Sr. and Mary (Olejar) Mrazeck.

He was the owner/operator of Mrazeck’s Junk Yard, Masontown, PA. since 1939 and was a member of All Saints R.C. Church, Pals Club and the Elks Club, Waynesburg, Pa. John enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Patty Takacs and husband Joe, Morgantown, WV and his son, Frank J. Mrazeck and wife, Dianne, Milton, DE; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Mrazeck and Irene Petko and brother, Norbert Mrazeck.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church and 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa, Wednesday, from Noon until 5 p.m. and Thursday until 10:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., in All Saints R.C. Church, Masontown, Pa. with Father John M. Butler as Celebrant.

Parish Wake Service, Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Interment follows in the St. Agnes’ Cemetery.
