Anna Mae Mari Riffle, 78, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011 in the Allegheny G e n e r a l Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Anna Mae was born on Sunday, October 9, 1932 i n California, Pennsylvania the daughter of Julius Mari and Elizabeth (Lexie) Mari.

Anna Mae was a member of The Sons of Italy, Perryopolis and the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 Ladies Auxiliary in Hopwood.

She was retired from Hills Department Store.

Anna Mae was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Warren L. Riffle in 1997; an infant son, Robert Riffle; and two sisters and two brothers, Esther File, Joseph Mari, John Mari and Marie Jeffries.

Surviving are five children: Julius Samuel Riffle and wife Alice of Anaheim, California, Thomas Lee Riffle and his wife Terri of California state, Linda Ann Riffle of Uniontown William Jack Riffle and wife Lynda, Woodside (Smithfield), Pennsylvania, JoAnn L o h r and her husband Lauren of Gibbon Glade, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren: Samantha, Shannon, Kimberly, Justin, William Jr. and Luke; one great granddaughter, Chelsie; two brothers and four sisters: William Mari and his wife Margaret, Richard Mari, Christina DeFrank, Dorothy Kuston and Sara Mari all of Uniontown, Elizabeth Skala of McClellandtown, Pennsylvania

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pennsylvania today (Sunday, January 9, 2011) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will begin at 8 p.m. with the Reverend Art Mace officiating.

Private interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Hopwood AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary will hold Services in the Funeral Home today at 3.
