Wanda Sue Upton Bigam
Wanda Sue Upton Bigam, 51, of Pleasant Hill, Connellsville, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Excela Health Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg She was born May 8, 1959 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania daughter of Roy Nelson Upton and Jean Marcella (Butler) Upton.
Wanda graduated from Connellsville High School in the Class of 1977.
She had been a resident of Pleasant Hill since 1986 and attended the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
She worked for Med Quest as a Medical Transcriptionist.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother, and sister and, in addition to her family, she also had a very loving affection for her pets and all animals.
Wanda will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family: her husband, Steven Bigam; her children: Samantha Bigam, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Colby Bigam and Courtney Bigam both at home; sisters and brothers: Mary Jean Smitley and her husband Robert and Roy Upton and his wife Debbie all of Dunbar Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, William Upton and his wife Johnetta of Fairchance, Pennsylvania, Larry Upton of Savannah, Georgia, Beverly Hibbard and husband Ralph, Ronald Upton, and Barbara Upton all of Dunbar Township; her sisters and brothers-in-law: Connie Hart and her husband Ralph of Normalville, Pennsylvania, Dave Bigam and wife Sandy of Connellsville, Dan Bigam and his wife Debbie of Normalville and Joe Bigam and wife Carol of Connellsville; two special nieces: Debbie and Lisa; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends will be received today from 12 Noon to 9 p.m. in the B R O O K S F U N E R A L H O M E INC 111 East G r e e n S t r e e t, Connellsville, where a Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Marvin C. Watson officiating.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pennsylvania.
Visitation was also held on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.
