Joseph Flint, age 92 years, of Brownsville, Pennsylvania died Saturday, January 8, 2011
Joseph was a Veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 940 in West Brownsville, General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pennsylvania and the Elks Lodge 776 in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Joseph was a Life Member of the South Brownsville Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Flint and Elizabeth Hall Flint; his wife, Marjorie Jane Brenton Flint; a Daughter, Jean Ann Lacey; several Brothers and Sisters. Joseph was the last member of his immediate family.
He is survived by Daughter, Kathy Matteucci, Brownsville; Son, Joseph B. Flint and his wife Linda of Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania; a Son-in-Law, Clifford Lacey of Low Hill, Pennsylvania; Grandchildren: Tom Matteucci and his wife Jamie, Daniel Flint, Kathy Ann Moore and her husband Charles, and Scott Lacey and Rebecca; Great Grandchildren Jessica Ward, Justin Opel, Charles Opel, Danielle Lacey; and a Great Great Grandson, Tristan Seamus Ward.
Friends will be received in SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 8 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Corner officiating.
The General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, Pennsylvania will conduct a Bible Presentation Service in the Funeral Home today, January 10, at 2 p.m.
