Latrobe 51, Albert Gallatin 33 – Kaitelyn Hill scored 18 of her game-high 21 points in the first half, leading the Lady Wildcats to a Section 1-AAAA home victory. Latrobe (1-3, 3-7) led 14-5 after the first quarter and 31-13 at the half. The two teams played a 20-20 second half.

Lindsay Opfer led the Lady Colonials with 10 points.

Albert Gallatin (0-5, 0-11) hosts Connellsville Thursday night.

Albert Gallatin 65, Brownsville 61 – The Falcons led this non-section game into the fourth quarter, but the Colonials mounted a comeback in the final eight minutes for the close victory.

Brownsville led 16-10, 31-23 and 50-44 at the quarter breaks, and Albert Gallatin (4-6) secured the win with a 21-11 fourth quarter.

Deon McKoy scored a game-high 26 points for Albert Gallatin, including 5-of-6 free throws down the stretch. Teammate Shawn Smearcheck added 20.

Four players accounted for all of Brownsville’s points. Zack Landman led the way with 23 points. C.J. Gaddis and Derek Jones both scored 13, and Wesley Frost added 12.

Albert Gallatin hosts Norwin tonight in section action.
