By Josh Krysak 1 min read

A Clarksville man accused of robbing a bank in Redstone Township in late October will have his day in court. State police said Rudolph Todd Haladyna, 34, was charged in November with robbery, illegally carrying a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, terroristic threats, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

During a preliminary hearing Monday, Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr. held all charges against Haladyna to Fayette County Court.

Police said that the charges were filed against Haladyna after he entered the PNC Bank on Route 40 shortly before 10 a.m. Oct. 28 wearing a black mask and brandishing a handgun.

Investigators said he then demanded money and was able to gather nearly $6,000 in cash before fleeing.

Haladyna remains in the Fayette County Prison on $75,000 straight cash bond.

Court records indicate Haladyna had initially posted bond, but was remanded to prison after he violated the terms of his bail by leaving the state on several occasions.
