Mary T. Cunningham Coraretti
Mary T. Cunningham Coraretti, of Dunbar Twp. passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in the Golden Living Center, Uniontown. She was born in Leisenring, a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Ann McGee Cunningham.
Mary was a graduate of the former Dunbar Twp. High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an Inspector for the Anchor Hocking Glass Plant in South Connellsville for 40 years. She was a member of the former St. Vincent DePaul R.C. Church in Leisenring and is currently a member of St. Aloysius R.C. Church in Dunbar. Mary was a former member of the Catholic Daughter’s of America and the Ladies Guild at church. She was a member of the Connellsville Senior Tigers and frequently attended the Connellsville Senior Center.
Mary is survived by her sister, Eileen Krawczyk of Markleysburg; her close friends, Allen and Nancy Jones of Dunbar Twp., and friends, Cathy Shandorf of Connellsville and Barbara Beucher of Dunbar Twp.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Peter A. Coraretti in 1984, and a sister, Nora Patricia Richey.
The family and friends of Mary would like to extent a sincere thank you to the staff at the Golden Living Center in Uniontown, the South Connellsville Personal Care Home, the Emergency Staff and the Staff on 3rd Central at Highlands Hospital, and Dr. Margel Guie, for all of their wonderful care given Mary during her illness.
Family and friends will be received form 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where Blessing Prayers of Transition will be held Friday at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Dunbar, with Msgr. Edward McCullough as celebrant.
A committal service and entombment will follow in the Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
A Parish Rosary will be held Thursday at 4 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations, be made to St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Box 438, Dunbar PA. 15431, in memory of Mary T. Coraretti.
