0006013158-01-1.jpg Robert C. Wiltrout, 81, of Scottdale died Monday, January 17, 2011 at his home. He was born June 9, 1929 in Wooddale, a son of the late Jesse and Hattie Kinneer Wiltrout.

Mr. Wiltrout was a retired steelworker, having been employed at the U.S. Steel Christy Park Works. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Scottdale Firemen’s Club, VFW Post 4077 of Scottdale, American Legion Post 301 of Connellsville, B.P.O. Elks 777 of Scottdale and a lifetime member of the F.O. Eagles 493 of Connellsville.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary C. Fosbrink Wiltrout; two sons, Howard Wiltrout and his wife Mary Margaret of Uniontown and Robert Wiltrout of Scottdale; eight grandchildren, Mary Ellen, Elizabeth, George, Amanda, Tony, Nicole, Jason and Justin; two great-grand-children, Piper and Doltyn and one sister, Betty Kreinbrook of Mount Pleasant.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, George Wiltrout, a grandson, Robert Clay Wiltrout, Jr., seven brothers, Glenwood, Charles, Earl, James, Ken, Howard and Lewis Wiltrout and three sisters, Frances Mae Karfelt, Ella Jean Hixson and Gertrude Sanner.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. today in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday with Pastor John F. Fosbrink officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
