John W. Loukota, 57, of Continental 2 passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at his home after a courageous battle with Cancer.

He was born May 15, 1953 in Uniontown, son of the late Edward and Isabelle Loukota.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, JoAnn Couch and a brother, Richard Loukota.

Surviving are three children: Ed Loukota and fiancee’, Marjorie DeCarlo, Westley Loukota and Joy Bloom and husband, Mike all of Uniontown; 5 grandchildren: Glenn, Alyssa, Mya, Madison and Aydan; 2 sisters and a brother: Sally Anthony and husband Robert of Uniontown, Priscilla “Patsy” Loukota of Continental 2, Tom Loukota and wife, Dottie of Masontown and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and his many friends at Blondie’s.

John was retired with 30 years of service with Atlantic Broadband.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, today (Thursday) 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 11 a.m., the hour of the service.

Interment will follow in the Hopwood Cemetery.
