Man nabbed for allegedly robbing three gas stations in Greene
A Nemacolin man is facing multiple charges after police allege he held up three gas stations while wielding a plastic replica of a handgun in Greene County in recent days. State police Trooper Robert Cree said Clyde Junior Stout, 36, was charged today before Magisterial District Judge Lou Dayich with three counts each of robbery, theft and simple assault following the three robberies conducted Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Police said the first robbery occurred shortly before 6 a.m. at the Sheetz service station in Franklin Township when a man, later identified as Stout, approached an employee and demanded money.
