Robert Dale Popovich
Robert Dale Popovich, 52, of Masontown, Pa., passed away at his home on January 18, 2011.
He was born in Smithfield, Pa., on May 21, 1958, the son of Edward and Patricia (Keener) Popovich.
He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed welder and an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons: Jeremiah Popovich and wife, Charity and Ryan Popovich Wilson; his daughter, Nicole Adell Popovich and granddaughter, Mackenzie Popovich, all of Masontown, Pa.; brother, Edward Allen Popovich of Irwin, Pa. and former wife, Beth Popovich of Smithfield, Pa..
Friends and family will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, PA today (Thursday) from 3 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 11 a.m., the hour of service in the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home Chapel.
Military Rites will be accorded at the gravesite by Faith – Gray – McArdle VFW Post 4584 and the American Legion Post 423.
Interment will follow in Old Frame Cemetery, Smithfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family in care of the John S. Maykuth, Jr. Funeral Home, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA 15461.
