Josephine Angelo
Josephine Angelo, age 95, of Perryopolis, PA, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011. She was born March 5, 1915, at Newell, the daughter of the late Frank and Celestina Dombrozzi Fabriziani.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, the Altar Society, Roman Star Lodge 1914, VFW Ladies Auxiliary all of Perryopolis, PA.
Josephine is survived by the following children: Celestine Pilarcik and husband William of Linesville, PA, Jacqualine Statzula and husband John of Perryopolis, Jeannette Purcell of Charleroi, PA, Richard Angelo and wife Darlene and Mary Matsko and husband John both of Perryopolis. She was the proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Angelo, daughter, Frances Keebler, son-in-law, Wayne Keebler, great-grandson Brandon Statzula, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa, Saturday, 7 to 9 PM, Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, where a Prayer Service will be held Monday at 9:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, PA. Rev. Father Bob Lubic will be the celebrant.
Interment will be held in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, PA.
A wake service will be held Sunday in the funeral home.
