George G. Lane, 74, retired Millwright (Irvin Works), who enjoyed playing the guitar, blue grass music, tractor pulling, hunting and fishing, died Friday, January 21, 2011.

Survivors: wife, Ardith June Leasure Lane; children: Betsy Brown (David) and George G. “Sam” Lane Jr. (Becky); two grandchildren: Danny Lane (Denise Hannen & son Jake Hannen) and Jenny Brown (boyfriend Clayton Smoker); siblings: Shirley Leasure (Lawrence), Grace McLean (Raymond), Nancy Zelmore, Barbara Lint, Marge Sangro (Severino), William Lane (Sandy), Raymond Lane (Barbara), Robert Lane (Judy)
