Pam Snyder seeking re-election

1 min read

Greene County Commission Chairwoman Pam Snyder has announced she will seek re-election to a third term as a county commissioner.

Snyder, of Jefferson, will be seeking one of two Democratic nominations in the May 17 municipal primary. Snyder becomes the fourth Democrat to publicly announce she is seeking a nomination.

“We have accomplished much in the last seven years, but much work remains to be done to make Greene County the home we want it to be,” Snyder said. “If elected for a third term, I plan to continue to bring our county sustainable economic development, job-creating initiatives and family-based recreational opportunities.”

Snyder was born and raised in Dry Tavern. She and her husband, Jack, have two children, Joy Eggleston and Maddie Snyder, and two grandchildren.
