Elizabeth J. Kirkpatrick, age 87, of Uniontown, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born May 4, 1923 in Moyer, Pa., daughter of the late Garrett Wingard and Marie Bush Wingard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kirkpatrick, her brothers, Samuel, Ralph, Garrett and Donald Wingard and her sister, Katherine Watson.

She is survived by her brother, Hobert Wingard, Jr. and wife, Janet of Sun City, Arizona; her sisters: Martha Markovich and Carrie Chalfant both of Uniontown and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, January 28, 2011, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Rev. Roland M. O’Brien officiating.

Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
