Carl Charles “Junior” Warner, Jr.
Carl Charles “Junior” Warner, Jr., age 86 of Upper Middletown, Pa., passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 in Hillside Manor. He was born October 20, 1924 in New Salem, Pa., son of the late Carl Warner and Mary (Craft)Warner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Arthur William Warner, his sisters: Anna Belle Crago and Thelma Marie Daugherty and a sister in infancy.
Carl was a veteran of World War II and had been a member of the Carpenter’s Union for many years. He participated twenty – five years in the National Road Heritage Festival having owned horses for over fifty years. The Warner 4 – H Entry Booth on the Fayette County Fair Grounds was built by Carl, along with his grandson Daniel and was dedicated on July 19, 1992 for his many years of service as a 4-H leader.
He was one of the original Fayette County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse when it was first organized in the 1970’s. Carl had attended Upper Middletown United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of sixty – six years, Louise E. (Beane) Warner; his four loving daughters: Mary Gail Theodori and husband Gene of Upper Middletown, Judy Mae Todd of Fort Worth, Texas, Carla Faye Hager and husband Richard of Upper Middletown and Melinda Louise Berner and husband Tom of Fort Worth, Texas; four wonderful grandsons: Gene Louis Theodori and wife Ann, Raymond Lee Theodori and wife Marlena, Daniel Stewart Theodori and Kenneth James Hager; 1 greatgranddaughter Caileigh Elizabeth Theodori; three great grandsons, twins: Kyler Anthony and Chace Michael Theodori and Gino Daniel Theodori; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday, January 31, 2011 until 11 a.m., the hour of service with his nephew Charles Crago officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
