Cindy’s Hairstyles relocates

Republic Cindy’s Hairstyles in Republic has moved to a new and larger location. Cindy Mullen, owner and operator has moved her salon to the corner of 12 Dunlap and Fairgarden streets in Republic. She now offers manicures and therapeutic massage. Chantel Angelo Harn has joined her as a stylist and manicurist.

Harn had been a hairstylist at Cost Cutters in Uniontown for many years.

Marcy Angelo is offering half-hour and one-hour therapeutic massages.

At Cindy’s, they cater to all ages. The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday and evening hours by appointment. Walk-ins are welcomed Friday and Saturday. Appointments are necessary all other days.

Carmichaels Community Bank achieves records in 2010

Pat McCune, president and chief executive officer of Community Bank and its parent CB Financial Services Inc., announced that, in 2010, Community Bank set new records for earnings, earnings per share, assets, deposits, dividends, book value, and average share price and volume.

“As we start the celebration of Community Bank’s 110th anniversary, we are pleased to inform our friends that the bank had a solid year in 2010,” he said.

Community Bank achieved earnings of $4,175,222, which is an increase of 18.83 percent over 2009. Earnings per share grew to $1.75, an increase of 19.05 percent. This equates to a return on equity of 10.79 percent and a return on assets of 0.88 percent.

Community Bank ended the year at $497,153,000 in assets, up 7.28 percent; average assets for the year were $474,122,000, up 7.44 percent.

The bank paid 81 cents in dividends per share in 2010, up 5.19 percent when compared to 2009. Shareholders equity grew to $38,126,650, an increase of 4.06 percent. During 2010, the value of CBFV stock increased 26 percent.
