Harriette F. Byers Georgiana Ferguson, age 86, of Uniontown passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2011 in the Laurel Ridge Nursing Center, Uniontown, Pa.

She was born July 9, 1924 in Juniata, Pa., the daughter of the late Benjamin Byers and Madora Honsaker Byers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ferguson; brothers and sisters: Marian Claybour, Tom Byers, Caroline Gilleland, Jane Moss, Howard Byers, Bruce Byers, Jerry Byers and Dale Byers.

Harriette was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, The American Legion Post 51 Ladies Auxiliary, Women Democratic Club and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her loving children: Sandy Georgiana of Uniontown, Carol Buttermore of Baltimore Maryland, Sam Georgiana of Bridgeville, Pa., Tony Georgiana and wife Janet of Uniontown, Jerry Georgiana and wife Denise of Westminster, Maryland and Kim George of Uniontown; loving Grandchildren: Bob Buttermore and wife Joni, Tina Newman and husband Paul, Michelle Dvorchak and husband Josh, Michael Georgiana, Brittney Shaffer and husband John, Steffney Georgiana and Dellaney Georgiana, Blair George Jr., Brian George and Brandon George; Great-grandchildren: Jacob, Jenna, Nick, Josie and Braelyn; sister, Lanna Newcomer of Uniontown and Brothers: Dave Byers and wife Shirley of Uniontown and Jim Byers and wife True of Uledi; several loving nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue Uniontown, PA 15401 today, July 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Hour of Service.

Interment follows in the Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa..
