James P. Sesler
James P. Sesler, age 91 of Uniontown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, June 29, 2011 in the Laurel Ridge Nursing Center.
He was born April 8, 1920 in Uniontown, the son of the late Phillip Sesler and Georgia Jeffrey Sesler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Dale Sesler.
James was a dedicated member of the Abundant Life Church and a member of the Boy Scouts of America for most of his life. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the Army. He was a 1938 graduate of Uniontown High School. James was a retired commercial Tire Salesman. He loved the Pirates and the WWE Professional Wrestling.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Virginia Dean Sesler; daughter, Judy; Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Louise Graham of Memphis, Tennessee, Jeffrey Brumbaugh of Florida and Patricia Burkett of Florida; loving nieces and nephews; and his beloved neighbor, James and the Hamborsky Family.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, PA., today, July 1, 2011 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday morning until 9:30 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Art Mace officiating.
Interment follows in Park Place Cemetery, Uniontown.
Military Honors will be accorded at graveside by the AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood.
