Teen hurt in Redstone crash

Rescue personnel secure for transport one of four persons involved in a single vehicle rollover that occurred on Grinstone Road, Redstone Township, Monday afternoon. One person was flown by helicopter to an area hospital, the condition of the other three victims is unkown. State police were assisted at the scene by Redstone and Grindstone volunteer fire departmenst as well as Fayette EMS.

Grindstone and Republic volunteer fire departments along with Fayette EMS assisted state police at the scene.

?REDSTONE TWP. — A 15-year-old boy was reportedly transported by medical helicopter Thursday evening to Ruby Memorial Hospital while two males were injured when the truck they were riding in rolled over on Grindstone Road in Redstone Township.

Firefighters from Republic and Grindstone volunteer fire companies responded to the scene shortly after 5:30?p.m. assisted by Fayette EMS and state police.

Dave DeCarlo, Republic Volunteer Fire Company fire chief, said the teenager had to be extricated from the truck.

Rick Adobato, chief at Fayette EMS, said the teen was air lifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., while the other two men were transported by ambulance to Uniontown Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.
