FCCAA receives $99,999 federal grant

U.S. Rep. Mark S. Critz (D-Johnstown) said Friday that the Fayette County Community Action Agency Inc. has received a $99,999 federal grant for renovations at the Republic Enterprise Center. The grant is being provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development.

The Republic Enterprise Center is a 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility located in Republic, PA. It provides low rent and operational support services to entrepreneurs from Fayette, Washington and Greene counties who wish to start or expand their own micro or small business.

?In addition to manufacturing space, the center houses a commercial kitchen for use by local food production companies. This grant will be used to renovate the kitchen/packing area, benefiting small businesses and entrepreneurs with the improved space.
