Hibbs man charged in gun threat in German Township

State police said a Hibbs man is behind bars for allegedly threatening another man with a handgun in German Township Saturday morning.

Trooper John Tinker said Shawn P. Milligan, 28, of 527 Fifth St. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Robert Breakiron with terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and two counts of harassment.

Tinker said the incident occurred around 10 a.m. at a residence on Sixth Street in the patch of Ralph.

Tinker said Milligan was walking down the street when he encountered Robert Lovis, no address available, who was inside his vehicle talking to another person.
