A Uniontown man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend at a location in Uniontown.

Uniontown police Officer Michael Bittner said Michael Thomas Ream, 18, of 38 Lawn Ave. was charged todayTuesday before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with two counts of simple assault and a single harassment count following the alleged assault Monday afternoon.

Bittner said police learned of the incident after the alleged victim, Kayla Walkos of Uniontown, came to the police station around 2:30 p.m. and reported that Ream had assaulted her.

Bittner said Walkos told police that Ream, who is her ex-boyfriend, arrived at her home on Wine Street and demanded that she talk to him.
