A Gans man is in jail after police allege he used a rifle to threaten a Springhill Township man and also assaulted her earlier this month.

State police said David Albert Darnell, 32, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment following the July 5 incident.
