Therese Louise Holly Cantini was born in Amend Pa. on March 30, 1918 and died July 17, 2011 at the Horizon Personal Care Home in Fairchance, Pa.

Therese was the daughter of the late Frank Thomas Holly and Dorothy Balas Holly.

She was the last member of her family to pass.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Quenten Joseph (Wedo) Cantini on June 27, 1985; her eight siblings and their spouses: Hedwig and John Mrazik, Alexander and Theresa Holly, Thomas and Mary Jo Holly, Lillian and William Shamrock, Frank Holly, Josephine and Frank Zelenak, Mathilda and Edward Seman, and Elizabeth and Peter Crocitto; niece, Jacqueline Seman Miller and a nephew, Thomas Croftcheck.

She was a member of St. Therese R.C. Church and a member of the Altar Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help St Mary, Leckrone. Throughout her life, Therese was always active with the 4-H Clubs in Fayette County, the girl scouts and the boy scouts and Head Start Program. Therese worked for the Intermediate Unit I and retired from there at the age of 82. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are: her daughter, Adrienne Cantini Gouker and her husband Ronald E. Gouker; granddaughter, Adrialee Gouker Duncan and husband James L. Duncan; grandson, Dr. Ronald E. Gouker and wife Courtney Baker Gouker; great-grandchildren: Andrew Quenten Duncan, Adam Joseph Duncan, Quenten Joseph Gouker and Isabella Abbeygayle Gouker. Therese had many surviving nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law: Blanche Cantini Liptock and Elizabeth Gergel Holly.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 9:30 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be said followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese R.C. Church with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak, V. F., Pastor.

Interment will follow in Mt. Macrina Cemetery.

Parish Wake Service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
