Lena B. Kosuh
Lena B. Kosuh, 85, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg.
She was born December 11, 1925 in Houston, PA, a daughter of the late Wilson H. and Mabel Ida Thomas Boyd.
Mrs. Kosuh was a 1943 graduate of East Bethlehem Township High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarksville Christian Church.
Mrs. Kosuh enjoyed playing golf in the Ladies Golf League at Carmichaels Golf Club, and most enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On February 17, 1961 she married John J. Kosuh, who survives.
Also surviving are three children: Bill Hardy of Clarksville, Don Hardy and his wife Gaylynn of Waynesburg, and Carol Porter and her husband John of Bridgeport, WV; five grandchildren: Matt Pierce and his fiancée Shelby, Josh Pierce and his wife Casey, Ben Hardy, D.J. Hardy, and Cody Porter; two great-grandchildren: West and Blake Pierce; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack Kosuh and his wife Elaine of Paulsboro, NJ, and their son, a nephew, Steve Kosuh.
Deceased are three brothers, Bob, Bill and Wilson Boyd; and four sisters, Ruth Cromika, Jean Leichliter, Beulah Lawrence and Mabel Carl.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the BEHM FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Carl Leipold officiating.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
