The Wounded Warrior Project Walk and Motorcycle Run will be held July 30 in Mount Pleasant.

Registration begins at 2 p.m. for the walk and 11 a.m. for the bike run, both at Veterans Park at the Diamond in the borough. Motorcyclists will begin at noon and the walk starts at 2:30 p.m. Registration is $20 for either event and those who register will receive a T-shirt. Pre-registrations for the walk can be made through Miller Refrigeration by calling 724-547-0670.

A parade will be held at 5 p.m. in the borough and a dance is scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Mount Pleasant. Admission is $20 and includes a T-shirt, food, raffles, drinks and music.

The event, organized by Brandon Miller, a student at Mount Pleasant Area High School, seeks to raise funding and awareness for the “Wounded Warrior Project.”
