No injuries in blimp crash in Greene County

An unmanned blimp, as large as the blimps that fly over sporting events, crashed in a wooded area in New Freeport, Greene County, today.

Officials said the blimp, which was launched shortly before 6 a.m. in Akron, Ohio, crashed in the woods off of Route 18.

No one was injured as a result of the accident.

State police are investigating.
