Robert C. Kopacko
Robert C. Kopacko, age 79, a guest at Mount Macrina Manor and formerly of New Salem, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 30, 2011, in Mount Macrina Manor.
He was born May 27, 1932 in Footedale, son of the late Joseph Kopacko and Clara Marcinak Kopacko.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Paull Kopacko.
Robert was a veteran of the Korean War and was formerly employed as a truck driver for Health Mart.
He is survived by two brothers: Gerald Kopacko and wife, Lee of Strongsville, Ohio and Kenneth Kopacko and wife, Betsy of Masontown.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem today, June 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, June 2, 2011 until 11 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
Military Rites will be conducted at the cemetery by American Legion Post No. 753 New Salem.
