Waynesburg Central set to graduate 150
The Waynesburg Central High School graduation ceremony will be held at 7?p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium. A total of 150 students are expected to graduate.
The President’s Address will be given by Gary Kisner, nephew of Steven and Mary Hollingworth of Waynesburg. Dr. Jerome Bartley will also address the senior class.
?The following students have earned the honor of Summa Cum Laude graduate:
Shelby Block of Waynesburg will be attending Stetson University in Florida and double majoring in business and communications with plans to attend law school in the future. She is a daughter of Stan Block and Sandra Block of Waynesburg.
Jonathan Calvert of Waynesburg will be attending the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in engineering.
He is a son of Gerald and Carol Calvert of Waynesburg.
Hannah Latzo of Waynesburg will be attending Coastal Carolina University for an undergraduate degree in marine science. She is a daughter of Steven and Patricia Latzo of Waynesburg.
Breanna Morris of Waynesburg will be attending California University of Pennsylvania to major in business and economics with a minor in environmental science.
She also plans to be a member of the Vulcan softball team. She is a daughter of Shelley and Charles Morris of Waynesburg.
Bethany and Brittany Orndoff, twin sisters of Waynesburg, will be attending Waynesburg University.
Bethany Orndoff will major in mathematics and secondary education. Brittany Orndoff is undecided in her major. Both girls will be members of the Yellow Jackets softball team.
They are daughters of Scott and Beverly Orndoff of Waynesburg.
Cassandra Orndorff of Waynesburg will be attending West Virginia University, where she will be part of the Honors College and major in biochemistry through the Davis College of Agriculture. She is a daughter of Christy and Corbly Orndorff of Waynesburg.
