Association sponsoring public hike
The Warrior Trail Association is sponsoring a public hike on Saturday in conjunction with Keystone Trail Association’s Pennsylvania Hiking Week.
Hikers should meet at the White Covered Bridge at 10?a.m. Two-mile and five- mile hikes will be offered. Shuttles and guides will be provided. The association asks participants to bring binoculars, bird books, sturdy shoes, water and a lunch. The group will be covering the section above Garards Fort, and plans to have a short historical talk on John Corbly, Chief Logan and what happened there on a May day in 1782.
