Frazier valedictorian, salutatorian named
Seventy-eight Frazier High School seniors will receive their diplomas during graduation exercises set for 7?p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium.
Gabrielle Campbell of Grindstone is Frazier’s Class of 2011 valedictorian.
?In school, Campbell was the president of National Honor Society, president of Ecology Club, president of Leo’s Club, vice president of Frazier Marching Band and the Interact Club. She also received the Fayette County Community All Star scholarship.
After graduation, Campbell plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study biomedical engineering.
She is a daughter of Shawn and Kim Campbell of Grindstone.
Emily Leonard of Dawson has been named the salutatorian.
In school, Leonard has served as the secretary of the National Honor Society, and was active with Mock Trial, Foreign Language Club and Interact Club. She graduates with a 3.98 grade point average.
After graduation, Leonard plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and then the main campus in Pittsburgh. She is undecided on a major.
She is a daughter of Kenneth and Meg Leonard of Dawson.
