Solomon C. Meese, Jr.
Solomon C. Meese, Jr., 86, of Uniontown, Pa. passed quietly away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 with his beloved wife, Rose Marie at his side, after a brief but brave battle with lung cancer in the Monongalia Hospital, WV.
Friends will be received in THE SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 680 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, PA today (Thursday) from 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the Hour of funeral service with Rev. Bill Walker officiating.
Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, where full military rites will be accorded by American Legion Posts 295, 940 and 838.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
