Farmers market planned in Greensboro

The Greensboro Farmers and Fair and Market will be held at the Greensboro gazebo every Saturday from 8?a.m. to noon beginning Saturday.

Activities include music from “The Huffs,” a father and son duo from Mapletown playing playing original and classic rock music, Mike Kovach’s antique tractor display and pony rides from the “Save a Horse” program.

?The farmers market will include bakery goods, fresh vegetables, fresh maple syrup, handmade soaps and lotions, freshly brewed coffee, along with farm-fresh sausages, kielbasa, bacon and Italian sausage links. Also, Greene Valley Presbyterian Church will be selling cookbooks.

The Greensboro “All Town Yard Sale” is also taking place Saturday.

The Nathanael Greene Historical Foundation, the Greensboro Elm Street program and the Sprout Foundation are sponsoring the market.
