Carol Louise Hudson Ambrisco, 61, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania died Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Latrobe Hospital.

She was born June 12, 1949 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Richard ‘Buck’ Hudson and Thelma Louise Green Hudson; and husband, John Edward Ambrisco.

Carol graduated from the now former North Union High School.

She had been an employee of the Berkowitz Shirt Factory.

Carol had attended the Third Presbyterian Church in Uniontown.

Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Marie Ambrisco and her companion David Waltermeyer of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania; two grandsons: Steven John Hyatt and Gage Austin Hyatt; brother, Richard Hudson and wife Pamela of Smock, Pennsylvania; sisters: Linda Hudson Petrush and Sandra Martoncik and her husband Joseph all of Oliver, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL F U N E R A L H O M E, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, June 6, 2011 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with the Reverend Art Mace officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
