Jeannette Miriam Townsend Packroni
Jeannette Miriam Townsend Packroni, 93, of Masontown, Pennsylvania passed away at home Saturday, June 4, 2011 with her loving Family at her side.
She was born in Jacobs Creek, Nicholson Township, Pennsylvania on Thursday, January 10, 1918 the daughter of Samuel Townsend and Harriet (Abraham) Townsend.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Telio Packroni; a sister, Evelyn; and brothers, Emerson, Joseph and Gregg.
She is survived by the following children: Dolores Packroni Krosse of Baldwin, Pennsylvania, Y v o n n e P a c k r o n i of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Ben Packroni and his wife Kathleen and Ronald Packroni and his wife Bernadette all of Masontown; the following grandchildren: Jeffrey Krosse and his wife Bonnie, Dawn Packroni Rozzi and her husband Anthony, Danette Packroni Minehart and her husband Howard, James Krosse and his wife Carrie, Ronald B. Packroni, Colony Packroni Hopkins and her husband Wes, C o l i n Packroni, Jonathan Packroni; seven great grandchildren: Benjamin, Kaelyn, Tommy, Parker, Paige, Connor and Ronald; niece, Harriet Gillock of North Royalton, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Leonore Packrone of Point Marion, Pennsylvania.
At Jeannette’s request, there will be no public visitation and Funeral Services will be private for only her Family.
Private interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers from Fayette Home Care and Amedisys Home Health and to all the devoted caretakers, especially the special care from Misty Danko, for their extraordinary care of Jeannette. Her last years, days and hours were graced by their presence.
