Julia E. “Judy” Wilson
Julia E. “Judy” Wilson, 63, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away unexpected Monday, June 6, 2011, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, with her loving daughter at her side.
Born in Uniontown on May 31, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret McAllister Cole.
Judy was a cashier at Wal-Mart, having worked there since the store opened in Uniontown. She was a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and attended West Virginia Career College. A lover of animals, she enjoyed reading and following politics. In her spare time, she liked to learn about historical events and visit historical points of interest.
Surviving is one daughter, Ashley Nickelson and husband Robert, of Uniontown.
Her husband, Daniel Wilson, passed away on September 9, 2002.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday, June 10th, until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Kenneth Rockwell officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance.
