Ohio man sentenced in sex assault
An Ohio man was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison on Tuesday for sexually assaulting a boy in Washington Township several years ago.
Richard Glenn Rodgers, 50, of Cleveland pleaded no contest to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault and indecent assault earlier this year before Fayette County President Judge Gerald R. Solomon.
?State police charged that Rodgers assaulted the child between Nov. 1, 2007, and Feb. 7, 2008. The boy was 8 years old at the time. Although Rodgers was evaluated by the state’s Sexual Offenders Assessment Board, he was not deemed a sexually violent predator.
