Results from the Eighty Four Livestock Auction held June 6 as follow:
?Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher with good demand. Supply included 112 slaughter cows, 8 slaughter bulls, 68 feeder cattle. All prices are per hundredweight.
Slaughter cattle:
Slaughter Steers: Select 1-2, 1,295 to 1,465 pounds, 90-97.
Slaughter Holstein Steers: No Test.
Slaughter Heifers: No Test.
Slaughter cows: Premium whites 65 to 75 percent lean, average dressing, 89-95. Breakers 75 to 80 percent lean, average dressing, 83-88; low dressing, 79-81.50. Boners 80 to 85 percent lean, average dressing, 76.50-81.50. Lean 85 to 90 percent lean, average dressing, 69-74.50; low dressing, 66.50-68.
Slaughter Bulls: Yield grade 1, 1,270 to 2,095 pounds, 93.50-94.50. Yield Grade 2, 1,015 to 1,310 pounds, 78.50-86.
Feeder Cattle:
