Connellsville stabbing now homicide investigation
CONNELLSVILLE — The Connellsville City Police Department are now investigating a homicide after learning the results Friday of an autopsy performed on a man killed earlier in the week in his South Pittsburgh Street apartment.
Police Chief Jim Capitos said that the autopsy, completed by Dr. Cyril Wecht, an Allegheny County forensic pathologist, revealed that David Gida died as a result of lethal stab wounds. Read more in Sunday’s Herald-Standard.
