Police investigate after shots fired into Uniontown home

Uniontown police said they are investigating after someone fired three shots into a Uniontown home early today.

Police said the incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. when officers on patrol heard numerous gunshots in the area of North Gallatin Avenue.

Police said they began canvasing the area and eventually found that at least three rounds had been fired into 187 North Gallatin Ave.

Police said the bullets entered the residence through a rear window and then traveled through an interior wall and into the ceiling.
