Greene County man dies after crash

?A Greene County man died Friday from injuries he sustained after he hit a tree and was thrown from his vehicle.

State police said Christopher Roland Minton, 23, of 108 East Church Street in Graysville was not wearing a seat belt when he lost control of his 1996 Chevrolet sedan along Webster Road in Morris Township in Greene County about 2:15?p.m. Friday.

According to police, Minton was negotiating a straight stretch of roadway when his car left the road and hit a tree causing him to be ejected from the vehicle. Police said the man died at the scene.

He was pronounced dead by Deputy Greene County Coroner William F. Lewis Jr.

Assisting state police at the scene were EMS Southwest and fire companies from Graysville, Morris Township, Rich Hill Township and Company 53 in Washington County.
