A Uniontown woman already in trouble for hiding heroin in her underpants while at the Uniontown police station following a domestic dispute in late April is facing a new set of drug charges.

Uniontown police Officer Jamie Holland said Cindy Renee Rankin, 25, was charged Sunday with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false identification to law enforcement following a traffic stop in Uniontown Sunday.

Holland said police received a tip that Rankin was driving into Uniontown Sunday night with a large amount of heroin following a drug buy in Pittsburgh.

Holland said he was able to initiate a traffic stop on her vehicle on Lincoln Street at 8:20 p.m.

During the traffic stop, Holland said he found 15 packages of suspected heroin in a purse inside the vehicle Rankin was driving.
