Florence Yedrzeyek
Florence Yedrzeyek, age 81, of Searights passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born October 27, 1929 in Searights, daughter of the late Felix Roskey and Mary Boqusz Roskey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul (Pow Wow) Yedrzeyek and her sisters, Stella Butts, Sophia Baran, Rose Ringer, Alice Kaminsky and Louise Bunda.
Florence was a member of St. Hedwig R.C. Church, Smock.
She and her husband were the owners and operators of Roskey’s Market in Searights.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, June 24, 2011 until 9:30 a.m., when brief Prayers will be said in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. in St. Hedwig R.C. Church, Smock, with Rev. Father James Petrovsky as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
