Frances E. Seper
Frances E. Seper, 96, of Lebanon Valley Home in Annville, PA, formerly of Brownsville, PA, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2011.
Frances was a 1943 graduate of California State Teachers College, presently The California University of PA, and received her Master’s Degree in 1955 from The University of Pittsburgh.
Over a span of 44 years, she was a teacher, principal, and coordinator of the summer Head Start Program in The Brownsville Area School District. Her involvement in organizations included Girl Scouts, where she served as a leader and The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, of which she was a lifetime member. She was a member of The Church of Saint Margaret Mary in Alacoque in Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Mike Seper and a sister, Mary Capirano.
Surviving are her nephews, Jerome Seper of Brownsville, PA; Dr. Medick Capirano of Pittsburgh, PA; and Dr. Mark Capirano of Philadelphia, PA. A great niece, Julia Capirano, resides in Venice, FL.
Friends will be received in The SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA. on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, Pa. with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park.
