Robin Lee Losen Shirocky, L.P.N., 64, of Dickerson Run, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
She was born on Monday, January 27, 1947 in Decorah, Iowa the daughter of Philip H. and Margaret D. Jansen Losen
Robin had been a resident of Dickerson Run for the last 20 years.
She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 20 years.
She attended the Star Junction Baptist Church.
Robin was predeceased by her parents; by her husband, Albert M. Shirocky Jr. in 2006; and by a son, Philip O’Hern.
Robin is survived by her children: J. R. O’Hern and wife Robin, Spanish Fort, Alabama, Dennise Pellick and husband William of Grindstone, Pennsylvania, Karen Dennis and her husband John of Oliphant Furnace, Pennsylvania, Aaron O’Hern and wife Jennifer of Grindstone, and Shaun O’Hern and wife Michelle of Claysville Pennsylvania; her step son, Matthew Shirocky, Dickerson Run; her 11 grandchildren; her brother, Noel Losen and wife Connie of Virginia; her sister, Holly Losen of Decorah, Iowa; and her mother-in-law, Pearl Shirocky of Dickerson Run.
Family and Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the BROOKS F U N E R A L HOME INC., 111 E a s t G r e e n Street, Connellsville, Pennsylvania where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Don Bowser officiating.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA Animal Shelter.
